Current Courses

I am Keli Koop Williams, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in December of 1999 with a degree in Secondary English Education. Soon after, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Walden University with a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology. Always one to further my education to benefit the school community, I received my ESL Program Specialist Certification in October 2013. My first teaching job was at Salisbury-Elk Lick High School, where I taught for three and one-half years. In August 2004, I came to Conemaugh Valley Jr/Sr High School, the very place I did my student teaching in the Fall of 1999. At Conemaugh Valley, I teach CVTV, English 7, Honors English 12, Intro to Public Speaking, and Public Speaking. I am also the co-advisor for the Senior Class and a member of the SWPBIS Team. In addition to my busy schedule at CVHS, I am an adjunct college professor at UPJ, where I teach Literacy in the Content Areas, Methods I--English, and Methods II--English classes to future teachers. Outside of the school environment, I enjoy spending time with my husband Keith, my daughter Maggie, my son-in-law Adam, my granddaughters Erin and Eden, my three cats Elphaba , Albus, and Minerva, and my two grandcats Ronin and Gemma. I am a published author currently working on my novel.
