Voluntary Second Grade Supply List 2025-2026

CUSD provides all necessary supplies for student learning.  

Voluntary donations of the following items are accepted, but not expected:

• 1 Set of Headphones (single audio 3.5mm STRAIGHT jack - no USB port or bluetooth). This item MUST be labeled with your child’s name as this will be a personal use. (Send in Ziploc bag, labeled with child’s name)

• Crayola brand Colored Pencils- 24 pack (Target)

• Crayola 10-count skinny markers (Fine Line at Target)

• Crayola 10-count thick markers   (Broad Line at Target)

• 2 Black Expo Dry erase markers (thin-fine tip) (Target)

• 2+ packs of Post-it Notes 3” x 3” (Target) OR (Amazon- any fun color!) Yellow are provided by the school

• 4 packs of baby wipes (Target)  (NO LYSOL WIPES)

• 1 container of hand sanitizer (Target) OR (Target)

• 2 LARGE boxes of Kleenex tissue (Target)

• Students with last name that starts with A-L: 1 box Ziploc gallon size freezer bags (Target) 

• Students with last name that starts with M-Z: Scotch Double Sided Tape (Target) or (Target)

The California Constitution mandates that public education be provided to students free of charge, unless a charge is specifically authorized by law for a particular program or activity. This constitutional right of free access encompasses all educational activities, whether curricular or extracurricular, and regardless of whether credit is awarded for the educational activity. Asking parents or guardians to sign a waiver, for an otherwise mandatory fee, charge or deposit, does not render it constitutionally permissible.
