Supply List

Second Grade Supply List 2024-2025

In the fall of each year, teachers generally ask parents to donate supplies. Parents have requested that these lists be sent out now so that supplies can be purchased during August when many of the stores have special Back to School sales. Parents can click on the links below to make online shopping easier. As always, the school will provide the necessary supplies when families are unable to donate them.

 SUPPLIES for your child:

• 1 Composition book, 100 sheets- WIDE ruled, hard cover (Target)

• 1 Set of Headphones (with traditional jack - not bluetooth). This item MUST be labeled with your child’s name as this will be a personal use.

SUPPLIES THAT WILL BE SHARED: (DO NOT LABEL THESE ITEMS BELOW)

• Crayola brand Colored Pencils-no more than 24 pack (Target)

• Crayola brand Box of Crayons- 24 pack (Target)

• Ticonderoga #2 pencils (box of 12) (Amazon) (Target)

• 2 Black Expo Dry erase markers (thin-fine tip) (Target)

• Avery brand glue sticks- small size (Amazon) OR (Amazon)

• 2 packs of Post-it Notes 3” x 3” (Target)

• 2 Reams 8 ½ x 11 White Copy Paper- NO TARGET BRAND UP AND UP COPY PAPER (jams our copier!)

• 2 packs of baby wipes (Target)  (NO LYSOL WIPES)

• 2 LARGE boxes of Kleenex tissue (Target)

• Students with last name that starts with A-L: 1 box Ziploc gallon size bags (Target) 

• Students with last name that starts with M-Z: Sharpies- BLACK fine tip point (Target) 

Please note:  Subject to change. 

The California Constitution mandates that public education be provided to students free of charge, unless a charge is specifically authorized by law for a particular program or activity. This constitutional right of free access encompasses all educational activities, whether curricular or extracurricular, and regardless of whether credit is awarded for the educational activity. Asking parents or guardians to sign a waiver, for an otherwise mandatory fee, charge or deposit, does not render it constitutionally permissible.
