Hello future statisticians!

Congratulations on choosing to challenge yourself with AP Statistics for the upcoming school year. To hit the ground running and ensure we have plenty of time to cover the curriculum before the AP Exam in May, there is a mandatory summer assignment for all enrolled students.

This assignment is designed to review foundational concepts and introduce you to data analysis so we can dive straight into the good stuff on Day 1.

Assignment Details: The summer assignment focuses on essential "Get Ready" skills, including:

• Categorical Data: Frequency tables and bar graphs.

• Quantitative Data: Dot plots, box plots, and measures of center (mean/median).

• Linear Modeling: Scatter plots and trend lines.

• Probability Foundations: Fractions, decimals, and basic theoretical probability. 

Due Date: This assignment is due in full on the first day of school.

Note: This assignment will count as your first major grade of the semester. Complete all lessons in Khan Academy to receive credit.
