As a reminder: Community Service hours do not count until Sept. 1 of your Freshman year.

Community Service is helping others: it is NOT:

• Time helping family members

• Anything required for being part of a team

• Service cannot benefit a student financially

  • Ex.:- Paid work

  • Ex.:- Student working a fundraiser to raise money to go on a trip, etc.

  • Unique situations will be voted on by the staff committee.

Deadlines:

• Form documenting hours must be submitted within one month of completing the service

  • Forms turned in in April documenting hours from January would NOT be accepted

  • If service is completed on January 15, the form should be submitted by February 15
