Four major outcomes for CPS science teaching and learning aligned to ONLS
Though project-based learning (PBL)/Capstone, students build deep understanding of content and effectively apply learning within and across disciplines.
Using claim, evidence, and reasoning (CER), students craft responses which demonstrates deep understanding of science concepts.
Digital lessons increase students' strategic use of appropriate technology in academic and real work settings.
Engineering design competitions provide students with opportunities to engage in an inquiry-based process to solve problems by creating solutions under real-world constraints. Students will utilize the engineering design process.
