The new CHS Computer Science Elective, Space Quest, give students the opportunity to work with NASA and Microsoft in an exciting mission to design, create and send a science project to the International Space Station orbiting Earth.

Throughout the course students will work as a group to learn about the International Space Station, building experiments for space, working with computers and robotics, teamwork and collaboration, and solving real world challenges.
The class provides CHS students one (1) full elective credit on successful completion.
Class will be an after school 8th period elective held in the Media room every Tuesday and Wednesday 3:45 to 5:30pm running from September 6th to May 10th for the 2016-2017 school year.
The class is open to students grades 9 through 12 who are registered with CHS. (Public and Homeschool students welcome)

The course is based on an exciting program provided by the Quest Institute working with NASA, Microsoft, and Lego Robotics.
