WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE!

After a relaxing summer, the fourth graders will be off to a great year of learning and adventure! We will be studying many interesting topics such as electricity, geometry, and New York State’s history.  The students will be working on research and science labs as well as many reading, writing, math and problem solving activities.

As you prepare for the upcoming school year, there are a few items that you will need. It would be helpful to have two sets of some of these tools for school and home.

School Supplies

❏ 1 handheld pencil sharpener

❏ 1 packages of pencils

❏ 1 highlighter

❏ 2 glue sticks

❏ 1 box of colored pencils – 12 or 10 count

❏ 1 pair of blunt tipped scissors

❏ 5 sturdy, plastic pocket folders - 1 green, 1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 black

❏ 1 flat, zippered pouch in which to store your materials

❏ 1 composition notebook

❏ 2 boxes of tissues

❏ 1 roll of paper towels
