2021 Talks

WordPress is an open source software, one can use to create a beautiful website, blog-site or applications. With additional configuration, it can be configured into something, much, much more. WordPress has tens of thousands of themes and plug-ins (free and commercial) to change the appearance and add or change functionality.

I am a programmer; as a result, I have thrown a bunch of organized information on my web-sites in the past. I would like to share how I have grown in this demonstration of creating a modern marketing focused home page with the new Gutenberg editor and Twenty-Twenty theme (no additional plug-ins).

About the Presenters:

Phil started writing web application in 1996. He worked with the Apache Server prior to the 1.0 version. He has written classic Asp and classic Asp.Net and now .Net Core web applications. Phil is currently working with Angular 11 CLI and .Net Core 2.x MVC/API back-end. He is currently coding for himself.

zpwr is one of the most powerful UNIX CLI setups in the world with over 360 zpwr subcommands, 330 git aliases, 11.5k tab completions. zpwr is based on zsh and zinit.

This project started out as my own version of Hashrocket's Dotmatrix repo and it then grew.. It is an extremely powerful custom terminal environment built on top of zinit.. There is a significant amount of custom zsh, bash, vimL and perl code that I wrote to support very advanced functionality ...
