Just a little about me: I graduated from Youngstown State University in 2006 and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I returned to Youngstown State University and earned my Master’s Degree in Education in 2011. This is my 18th year teaching and my 13th year teaching third grade at Joshua Dixon.

I was raised in Boardman, Ohio and currently live there with my family. My husband Matt and I are the lucky parents of Carter and Nora. They are also very excited for the school year to start! We are also the "parents" of our sweet dog, Jules.

I love all things The Ohio State "O-H!", enjoy watching our kids in their favorite sports (swim/baseball/gymnastics/...) and we are always keeping busy with school and having fun together. Your students will often hear me say "have you seen my coffee?," "yes, I have Chipotle for lunch AGAIN," and "yes, I am wearing a blanket because I am always cold," 🥶
