Who are we?

We are a community of graduate and undergraduate students, post-docs, and faculty working to support the inclusion, participation, and success of women and gender minorities in the physics department at CU and around the world.

What are our values?

WaGMiP Boulder prioritizes anti-racism and anti-oppression. We value Community, Cultural Sensitivity, Accountability and Compassion.

WaGMiP supports choice

(July 2022)

The June 24, 2022 SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade is a devastating blow to women and birthing people's bodily autonomy and freedom. Limiting abortion access does not stop abortions - it forces marginalized people, especially those with limited means, to seek risky and desperate measures. Our community, and in particular BIPOC, survivors of sexual assault and violence, and financially disadvantaged members of our community are affected in unique and particularly difficult ways by the Supreme Court’s decision.
