Salmon Watch

This fall 7th grade will be participating in the Salmon Watch program and we will be raising salmon in the classroom with our 2nd grade buddies. We will visit the Carmen Smith Spawning Channel and Fish Creek with 2nd grade in November to view spawning salmon. In conjunction with the Salmon Watch program, 7th will be doing monthly restoration work at Green Island all year. With this work, it is my hope to instill a spirit of stewardship and respect for our amazingly beautiful and incredibly diverse ecosystem.
