This is the Track & Field Outdoor Competition Training Phase

With every success find humble confidence.

With every setback, find opportunity & resolve.

To be prepared on the day, you must prepare for the day.

-- Coach

We may never experience such anticipation for a season opener again (hopefully!), and it is finally here. Time to shake off the dust on our meet-week mindset. Take a few extra moments to visualize the whole meet day - from the time you go to bed the night before to the time you crawl back on the bus for the ride home. Think through everything that will happen, everything you will need along the way, and make sure you are prepared!

This is merely the first meet of a long season that will go by very quickly. Put yourself in position to take full advantage of the day. Cherish the opportunity to wear CNU Blue and compete against others; to measure where you are right now; and to learn what we need to work on next to get even better.

Let's go!

Be B.I.G. Time!

Competition season has arrived - do your professors have a copy of your Competition Letter? Do you have a study plan for this week that will keep you on your sleep schedule heading into Saturday's meet? Do you have a plan for setting up next week given your whole Saturday is reserved for competition?

Do you have a plan for the start of finals, yet?

Get your plans in order - which includes communicating fully and effectively with your professors and academic support team!
