I am an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Christopher Newport University, where my work centers on number theory, functional analysis, classroom teaching, and mentoring undergraduate research.
My academic journey began at Williams College, where I graduated in 2002. I then went on to earn my Ph.D. in 2007 from the University of Texas at Austin under the supervision of Jeffrey D. Vaaler. Following a year as a lecturer at UT Austin, I spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für Mathematik in Bonn, Germany. I then held a two-year joint appointment at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, before serving on the faculty at Oklahoma City University from 2011 to 2015.
For more detailed information about my research, courses, and professional background, please see my curriculum vitae.
