Gamma-ray Detector Array with Position and Energy Sensitivity の略

An array of segmented planar-type Ge detectors at CNS, the University of Tokyo for in-beam nuclear spectroscopy of projectile-like nuclei produced by nuclear reactions.

It can be applied to Doppler-shift correction of gamma-rays by using position sensitivities in the detectors. The position sensitivity of the segmented planar-type Ge detector can be done by pulse shape analysis. Development of the pulse shape analysis will be completed someday in the future...
