Classroom Rules and Expectations
R-Respect everyone and don't talk out of turn
E-Eating is not allowed, but drinking clear water is
S-Stay in assigned area of classroom unless told to move
P-Passes to the bathroom are distributed to the students to use as needed after first 45 minutes but not during last 15 minutes
E-Earphones and cell phones are not to be seen in class
C-Come to class on time and complete work
T-Talking excessively will result in changed seat
School Wide Grading Scale:
Formal = 70% of your grade.
- Includes formal exams, final drafts of essays, and large projects
Informal = 30% of your grade
- Includes classwork, quizzes, homework and other assignments.
90-100 A
80-90 B
70-80 C
60-70 D
59- Below F
Tutoring Schedule & Availability:
Tutoring is available on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 2:15-3:15pm, by appointment
Make-Up / Missing Work:
Work should be made up as soon as possible after absences. Students have five days to make up work; however, late points will be taken. Please see the syllabus for more details on this.
