Experience
Dr. Prem Kumar Ramesh has around 20 years of experience in industry and academic research in USA & India in the field of computer architecture and systems development. After completing PhD from Iowa State University in 2011 with Jerry R. Junkins Fellowship, he has led several cutting-edge projects in Intel, Qualcomm and ARM as a CPU architect, focusing on functional, performance & power validation, including functional safety. He has also served as department head and research center head in academia. He is an active Senior IEEE member and has published several papers in the field. With his vast domain expertise and passion towards research and development, he has entered into a new venture of founding Axlaron semiconductors (https://axlaron.in/) towards developing commercial grade high performance and energy efficient SoCs.
