Independent Reading Project

For every Six Weeks you will choose one 250-300 page book to read outside of class and during

D.E.A.R. You will then complete an independent reading project due on the last day of the grading

period (these dates are marked on my calendar).

1. Sign up below to let me know which book you will be reading for each grading period.

(Books we are reading in class DO NOT COUNT! Neither do books you have read in

a previous class)

2. Below the survey you will find word documents with instructions for the independent

reading project, a complete sample project, and instructions for how to log your weekly

D.E.A.R. readings in your journal.
