My name is Ms. Amy Munkers, but please call me Munks.
I have been teaching in Clovis Unified for 21 years.
I teach AVID grades 11 and 12.
I also facilitate Credit Recovery using the online program Edgenuity here at BHS.

Study Skills Students, your grades will not show in Student or Parent Connect. You can monitor the grades you are getting in the courses you are recovering directly in the Edgenuity platform.
We will do weekly grade checks in all of my classes beginning the 4th week of each semester.

Grade Explanation for Edgenuity Courses
Students' grades will be taken directly from the Edgenuity platform for the courses being recovered. Students can work as quickly as they want and will have access to coursework 24/7.
Per 7 will receive 5 credits for the semester for attending and completing Edgenuity work in class. You will also earn the credits you complete in the Edgenuity Platform.
Per 8 is Independent Study and only requires a Once a Week attendance with Munks. You will only earn the credits you complete in the Edgenuity Platform. Once your counselor-assigned courses are complete, you are exited from the 8th period which also means you are ON TRACK to graduate!
