COURSE DESCRIPTION:

AP Calculus AB is a rigorous course that emphasizes the learning of essential concepts: limits, derivatives, and applications (such as related rates), integration and applications including slope fields.  These concepts are required for success in future higher mathematics courses as well as for the AP test.  Student progress will be monitored closely to ensure an understanding of concepts.  Self-discipline and a positive work ethic will be essential for student success.
