About Me

Hello! My name is Debbie Hodge, and I'm thrilled to say this is my 28th year teaching Academic Block. I grew up in Bakersfield, CA, and graduated from California State University Fresno. My teaching career began right here at Alta Sierra. I teach two sections of Honors Academic Block this year, periods 3/4 and 6/7. Additionally, I am the adviser for the Alta Sierra History Day team.

I live in the Buchanan Area with my husband, Dave, son Sean (attending Sacramento State), daughter Allison (attending UC Davis School of Law), cat Truffle, and two dogs, Skyler and Reese.

I enjoy baking, travel, movies, SF Giants baseball, and spending time with my family.
