Ideas to help facilitate learning for both Students and Parents.

  • Text: McGraw-Hill Illustrative Mathematics Course 2; accessible via Clever

    • Each student will be issued a consumable textbook for each chapter for the school year.

  • Access to online textbook in Clever.

    • Students can go to Clever and access the textbook online. Once there, seek the chapter and lesson you are looking for. It will give "Lesson Resources" to the right of the screen. Scroll through these to see what is available to you.

  • Google Classroom Video Notes

    • Each lesson has either been recorded from a previous school year or is current to this year. Either way, they are up to date and when opened from Google Classroom under the tab "Classwork" you'll see two attachments. The first is the video and the second is the note template for the lesson.

  • Ask for peer assistance in class and on Google Classroom.

    • Either ask a live in the flesh fellow student by phone or in person, or ask your question in the stream or assignment on Google Classroom.

  • Search YouTube with titles of lessons for other educator’s methods.

    • Your light bulb may "turn on" when taught by someone else in a different way. So see what you can find on the internet. Type in the lesson name along with 6th, 7th, or 8th grade to see what is available.

  • Math help at lunch by appointment.

    • Mr. Kroeker is available for help during lunch but by appointment only. Without an appointment you may find that he has stepped off campus for lunch or in a meeting.
