Welcome to 2nd grade in Room 12
Nolan, Ellen and Winnie (Service Dog) Dr. Virginia R. Boris My family (Go, Giants!)
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am excited to share a wonderful year with you and your family. I look forward to seeing you at 7:45 on Monday, August 18th. I have been working in our classroom over the last few weeks to make our room magical and ready for the learning to happen.
I am married to my husband, Les, and have two children. This is my 32nd year teaching, but only my fourth year at Boris. Dr. Virginia R. Boris is a dear friend of mine, so I feel priviledged to be working at her namesake school. I love art, reading, biking, and spending time with my family. I believe that every moment matters.
This summer I was thankful to spend time with my family. We went to a few Giant's games (sorry Dodger fans), went to Donner Lake for a family reunion, and spent time by the pool to stay cool. I love to read, so I read a few books and purchased some great serieses for our class.
My son, Nolan, has graduated college and is currently searching for his full time job. He substitute taught last year and was a baseball coach at Clovis North. He sees the good in every person and brings joy wherever he goes.
Ellen, my daughter, and her service dog, Winnie, have gone through extensive training and are quite a wonderful pair. You might see Ellen with me at school functions as she loves to see what I'm up to at Boris. Ellen is my daily reminder to live each day to the fullest.
Back to School Night is August 28th starting at 5:00 PM. Please save that date as I look forward to meeting our parents as well.
We are going to have a great year,
Mrs. Inouye
