Chuck is an executive coach, trainer and speaker based in Knoxville, Tennessee. An expert in leadership development, Chuck partners with his executive coaching clients to help them achieve greater success. Chuck specializes in the “people side” of leadership helping his clients lead themselves, team and organization to new heights.
Chuck has a track record of meeting or exceeding clients’ expectations as he adds value to people, teams and organizations. In addition to his successful experience, Chuck earned a doctorate in executive leadership focusing his dissertation on executive coaching and leadership styles. Chuck is a founding partner of the prestigious John Maxwell Coaching, Speaking and Training Certification Program.
Chuck has significant experience leading diverse teams and organizations. Prior to coaching business leaders Chuck was a high school educator for 24 years in roles including teacher, Hall of Fame coach (most victories for any boys’ basketball coach in school history), Athletic Director, and Principal (during his tenure the graduation rate increased from 79% to 92% and he successfully completed a 58 million dollar construction renovation project).
In addition to executive coaching Chuck provides training on leadership and team development topics. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences and business gatherings.
Elaine Seat, Ph.D., PE

Dr. Elaine Seat is on the faculty of the Management Department of the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Elaine arrived in the Business School via an unusual path. She began her professional career designing machines as a licensed mechanical engineer and grew into roles as a chief engineer and engineering manager. After learning first-hand about the barriers limiting technical professionals from their best work, she studied Sport Psychology and Counseling Psychology to better understand what it takes for high-performing individuals to reach extraordinary performance.
Dr. Seat started her academic career as a National Science Foundation Visiting Professor in the UT College of Engineering where she was part of the team that designed the award-winning freshman engineering program engage®. The changes brought to engineering education through engage improved the retention of future engineers by over 50% through the first year within three years. Her expertise in working with students and industrial background brought her to the College of Business as the inaugural Director of the Aerospace and Defense MBA program. Returning to her passion for teaching people how-to create their own extraordinary performance, Dr. Seat currently teaches undergraduate and MBA students leadership and performance skills. She also designs and delivers custom curriculum for adult professionals aimed at providing the tools and thinking that is the basis of excellence in management and Leadership. Elaine’s favorite teaching reviews are those that include the words “practical, applicable, and easy-to-apply.”
Dr. Seat is a licensed mechanical engineer in Tennessee. She earned the BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, and the Ph.D. in Sport Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has been featured in industry publications for over 20 years on improving human performance and building professional skills to help people advance in their organization. During her six years in the engineering school, she received nine grants for projects directed a improving the complementary skill sets of engineering students. She has over 30 articles in

Maurice Saliba, CEO of Hope 80/20
Maurice has over thirty years of experience offering effective wellness solutions to corporations and communities, improving health, and reducing health costs. He is a certified Health Coach and founder of Hope 80/20, recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Registry of National Diabetes Prevention Program providers. He has been recognized by state officials and CEOs for providing measurable solutions for reducing obesity. He has hosted multiple radio and TV shows in East Tennessee, and is a dynamic speaker, with the ability to educate and motivate.
Maurice has developed and led multiple successful corporate health and wellness programs, including the following:
· Led Bradley County Pre-Diabetes pilot program. 600 participants lost a total of 10,000 pounds
· Led Weight Management program for Mohawk Industries. 1,200 participants lost a total of 7,000 pounds.

Presentation Description: Maurice will provide important information about the CDC National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), and the unique Hope 80/20 approach to the program that’s been successful in improving health and reducing wellness program ROI for corporations, communities, and government organizations. He will describe the Hope 80/20 Online DPP program that is able to reach those segments of the population that were excluded from traditional program offerings, such as 2nd and 3rd shift workers, transportation, and other offsite employees, and family members.

Denise Rice, President of Peak Performance Inc.
Denise Rice is an Operations Executive with a career spanning more than 25 years with Corning, Inc. and their subsidiaries. She has held positions including plant management and engineering roles in environmental technologies in Cleveland, TN and Durham, NC, telecommunications in Corning, NY, and advanced display products in State College, PA. Most recently at Cormetech Inc, a joint equity venture between Corning and Mitsubishi, she provided leadership and coordination of worldwide manufacturing excellence in a continual pursuit of cost reduction and efficiency improvement ensuring the most modern and advanced manufacturing strategies, equipment and processes.
Under her leadership, Cormetech was awarded Tennessee’s Business Recycler of the year in 2009. In 2013, 2014 and 2015, Cormetech’s BEST (Business and Education Working Together) Program with Cleveland High School was recognized by the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce with Gold and Platinum awards. In 2014, Cormetech was nominated for the U.S. Department of Defense Freedom Award for their support of military veterans and the company received the prestigious TN Governor’s Award for Environmental Responsibility in Materials Management. Cormetech was also named Company of the Year for 2014 by the Tennessee Association of Manufacturers.
Ms. Rice is currently the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Association of Manufacturers and has held the position of president for the Cleveland Associated Industries. Both associations are committed to the needs of local manufacturing companies ranging from governmental affairs to education in the community to ensure a prepared workforce. After completing a three-year term as a Board of Director for the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce, she then served as a Board of Director for the State of Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Most recently, she has been appointed by Bradley County Mayor to the Southeast Tennessee Workforce Development Board.
Rice received her Bachelor's of Science in electrical engineering from Syracuse University. She received her certificate from The Lean Manufacturing Leadership Institute at the University of Kentucky in 2001 and a certificate from the Executive Development Institute at Vanderbilt University in 2012.
Kenneth Hatch
Kenneth has over 26 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, with 20 yrs. at Toyota starting as an assembly team member working up to a specialist in the North American Headquarters in training and development. Currently the Assistant Manager of the Continues Improvement group at Volkswagen Group of America. In his previous roles he was responsible for the creation, training, coaching and tracking of the following programs for the manufacturing operations at Toyota North America (16 sites) Floor Management Development System. He is Toyota Institute certified in Toyota Business Practice (Problem Solving), Standardized Work Introduction, Toyota Production System, The Toyota Way 2010, Introduction to Quality Circles, and Toyota History.
He is currently the Assistant Manager of the Continues Improvement at Volkswagen and trains and coaches the following elements of the VW production system:
Guy Deloach
Guy brings over 25 years of Lean Manufacturing experience. In his various roles, he has assisted in developing Lean Six Sigma/TPS management structure for the worlds 2nd largest pharmaceutical group in Singapore increasing production throughput by 22 percent on 3.1 billion in annual sales of that BU. He also has implemented Lean Six Sigma into the laboratories of one of the worlds largest pharmaceutical company’s consumer division, restructured laboratories processes, into work cells utilizing VSM, pull and supermarket concepts both physical and virtual. Reduced cycle time of sample testing from 17 days to 1.3. Installed measurement system, rhythm wheels and mixed takt and man power loading schemes. He has also led projects as Program Manager for large multi-site biotech manufacturing strategy project, including assessment of manufacturing network, individual site lean opportunities, product strategy and identification of opportunities for end to end value stream improvement. Guy served as Executive Vice President of operations for major division of Toyota with extensive training in Japan.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration and in Advanced Management Science. He is currently a professor of Business at Lee University, and a Owning Partner of Rock Creek Informatics and LeanEd.
Dan Gilmore
Following his graduation from Baylor University and Baylor Law School, Dan served as a judge advocate in the U. S. Marine Corps. As chief trial counsel at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina, he earned the Navy Commendation Medal, awarded for his meritorious legal service.
Dan entered private practice in 1990 in Chattanooga with the law firm of Miller & Martin PLLC. In his nearly twenty years as a member of the firm’s labor and employment practice group, Dan worked daily with all levels of management with a wide range of companies, including the firm’s largest client, Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE). In 1996, he was selected to serve as captive counsel for CCE’s West Group, headquartered in Los Angeles. In this position, Dan was directly responsible for CCE’s labor and employment matters in 14 states. After a decade in this position, Dan returned to the firm’s Nashville office. In 2009, he was recruited back to Chattanooga to join the labor and employment practice group at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C.
As an attorney licensed in Tennessee, California and Texas, Dan has represented clients in all phases of proceedings in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. He has extensive experience in equal employment opportunity matters, employee and management training, alternative dispute resolution, and traditional labor law, including representation elections, arbitrations, and contract negotiation and administration.
Most recently, Dan has been named an adjunct professor for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s College of Business, teaching Government Regulation of Human Resource Management.
Don Truza
In 1998, Donald R. Truza, SPHR, CMF, assumed the reins of The Transition Team as CEO and moved the Executive offices to Knoxville, Tennessee while still maintaining regional office in Michigan. Don also has the distinction of being President Emeritus of the Outplacement Industry's official professional association: ACF International, and also former Vice President of Human Resources for Sea Ray Boats.
Krystal Woods
Krystal wants to live in a world filled with people who are kind, passionate and love what they do for a living. Also, a force field around her toddler that prevents her from ever getting hurt.
After attending Indiana University, Krystal lived in the Arizona desert for 7 years before moving to Cleveland, TN. She loves the community here, but still refuses to say ya’ll.

Mike has over 40 years of manufacturing operations experience including management responsibilities in supply chain & logistics, human resources, and operations. He holds a BA Mathematics University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Masters in Education Kaplan University.
