Behavior Plan for 4th Grade
Classroom Rules
1. Behave in a manner that does not disrupt classroom learning or the operation of the school.
2. Be prepared to begin each day on time by having all materials at your desk and be seated when the bell rings.
3. Respect the people, equipment, and furnishings at Celina K-8, as well as respect themselves and the rights of others.
4. Follow directions the first time they are given.
5. Turn in assignments on time. (Assignments are due the day after they are assigned. Absent students have 1 day per day of absences to make up any missing work before it is considered ‘late’. If an absent student does not complete the make-up work in the allotted time frame, the work will be considered late.)
If you choose to break a rule- the consequences
If a student breaks a rule, they will receive a tally mark. Any teacher or aide can give a student a tally mark if they are breaking a rule. Students will walk, run, or jog for 5 minutes of recess for each tally mark given.
If a student receives 3 or more tally marks per day, they will receive behavior point for that day.
3 tally marks in a day= 1 behavior point
If a student receives 4 or more tallies in a day, they will have an office write-up.
Parents/Guardians will be contacted after a child has received 2 behavior points. (Either by phone call or Parent Square text message)
Students will be referred to the office after they receive 4 behavior points
Special circumstances may result in an immediate office referral. (fighting, threatening behavior, etc.)
Missing Work
If your child has a missing assignment that is 1-2 days late, they will work on their missing assignment during their pullout time.
If your child has a missing assignment that is 3-4 days late, they will work on their missing assignment in ISS during their pullout time.
If your child has a missing assignment that 5-6 days late, they will work on their missing assignment in ISS during their lunch and pullout times. *A zero will be assigned to the missing work after 7 days late.
