Meter -vs- probe operated system, metered systems are good for medication, sanitizers, and acid if the water source stays consistent any changes in the water quality the meter cannot read... (Ex. weaker acid or chlorine) the meter cannot read that degradation, a probe operated system on the other hand can read all changes in your stock solution and in the incoming water. So, if you are gonna invest in chemicals make sure you are using the proper equipment to give you the proper results you need.
