"I" Statements

Need to have a hard talk with someone? Scared it may not go well? Try using "I" statements.

We may want to talk about on how they hurt you. We may want to talk about what they could change. Those things can be hard to hear. "I" statements keep the focus on you and what you need. This can help lower big feelings and stop the blame game.
