Hoberman Sphere
Tool to help students visualize their lungs as they breathe. Grip the sphere on both sides and pull apart slowly as they inhale. As they exhale, slowly push the side closer.
Slinky
Use it in the exact same way as the Hoberman Spehere.
Straws & Watercolors
Drop a blob of watercolor paint on a piece of thick paper. Then, blow through a straw to spread the paint and create a paint monster.
Pinwheels
Inhale deeply through nose and then exhale slowly through mouth. The exhale will blow the pinwheel to a spin. Enjoy watching the spin.
Bubbles
Grab some bubbles. See who can make the biggest bubble! This makes kids breathe deep and control their exhale for slow and steady bubble growth.
Stuffies
Use a stuffed animal to teach belly breathing! Kids lie on their back and put a stuffie on their bellies. When they inhale, the stuffie will rise. When they exhale, the stuff animal will fall. See what happens when they breath fast and slow.
