The module will feature some theoretical lectures but primarily practical activities to develop and consolidate knowledge. The module will use the following tools, which students should familiarise themselves with:
Discord.

AtelierB: https://www.atelierb.eu/en/download/
BMotionWeb: https://www3.hhu.de/stups/prob/index.php/BMotion_Studio_Download
Google Sites.
Google Forms.
Google Classroom.
Recommendations: before lectures

Structure: 40 minutes for Q&A, 10 minutes for individual theoretical assessment via Google Forms, and 50 minutes for practical activities.
Recommendations: after lectures
Apply the content in group projects.
Discuss questions on Discord.
Schedule in-person meetings with the lecturer if needed.
Assessment methodology
Mind Maps (MM):
It is permitted to consult teaching materials.
Developed individually, submitted via Google Classroom (PDF format).
11 mind maps: M1..M11
MM denotes the arithmetic mean of all markings.
Theoretical Assessments (AT):
It is permitted to consult teaching materials.
Conducted during classes using Google Forms.
12 assessments: A1..A12,
AT denotes the mean of the 9 highest marks.
Project (PJ):
It is permitted to consult teaching materials.
Groups of at most 3 students
Submitted in ZIP format (slides + files) via Google Classroom.
Three submissions: PJ1..PJ3.
Summative Assessment (EE):
It is prohibited to consult teaching materials.
Final Assessment (EEF):
It is prohibited to consult teaching materials.
For those students that do not reach the minimum required mark.
Marking formula: N = (N1 + N2)/2, where
N1 = (4*PJ1 + 3*PJ2 + 3*PJ3)/10
N2 = (1*MM + 2*AT + 7*EE)/10
If N >= 7.0, passed.
If necessary: NF = (N + EEF)/2
If NF >= 5.0, passed. Otherwise, failed.
Additional Information:
All individual activities must be done independently (i.e., no plagiarism and collusion).
There is no second chance for submitting MMs and PJs, since they are asynchronous.
Concerning ATs, occasional absences are automatically accommodated since only the 9 highest marks are considered.
Missing EE or EEF without applying for a second chance leads to fail.
