Recent projects are focused on addressing Geophysical inverse problems (Gravimetry, Magnetometry and Salt Imaging) using Data Sciences techniques.
Researcher professor at Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías (CUCEI) of Universidad de Guadalajara. My research area focuses on Uncertainty Quantification techniques to address the Inverse Scattering problem in a Bayesian formulation. Driving aspects of my research concerns input representation, surrogate models, numerical methods and effective dimension which are summarized in two journal publications (see references on vitae).
PhD in Computer Sciences at CIMAT, México on 2016.
I obtained the Masters in Science degree in Computation and Mathematics for the Industry at CIMAT, on 2012. The M. Sc. thesis work was focused on developing high performance numerical methods to address the inverse scattering problem in a Bayesian framework with a classical representation for the scatterer based on Fourier series.
I received the BSc in Computation from Universidad de Guanajuato on 2010. Main results of corresponding thesis work were published in a congress paper (see reference on vitae).
