Reem Jafar Ismail received the Science degree, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in computer science from "University of Technology" (UOT), Baghdad, Iraq, in 2001, 2004 and 2010, respectively.

She was a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at UOT from 2005 until 2013 and currently she is a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science in Cihan University- Erbil. Her research interests include wireless networks, ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, e-learning, data mining and using programming to development many scientific fields especially in education.

She is reviewer in "Engineering and Technology Journal" for computer science topics, Ad hoc & sensor wireless networks, USA, and Member of M. Sc. and higher diploma as evaluation committee in "Iraq commission for computers and informatics (ICCI) - informatics institute for postgraduate studies". She joined board of International journal of recent research in mathematics, computer science and information technology, India and member in scientific promotion committee in Salahaddin university- Erbil, Iraq. Recently she is member in network and communication research group in Cihan university - Erbil.
