CCMT Education Cell Organized Chinmaya Netritva IX – A Quality Leadership Empowerment Program, a six day workshop for New Principals & Senior teachers at Chinmaya Gardens, on 25th July to 30th July 2022. 22 Principals & 13 senior teachers from 30 CV’s & 1 Vision School, from 8 states participated in the session. Swamini Samprathistananda hoisted the Chinmaya Vidyalaya Flag and the session was inaugurated by Swami Anukoolananda Zonal Director CCMTEC, Swamini Samprathistananda Head of Chinmaya Gardens Coimbatore, Dr.Senthil Kumaran Head of The Learners Confluence, Shri.Subramanian, Co-trainer, Smt.Shanti Krishnamurthy Director CCMTEC & Smt.Rajeshwari Satish Principal, CIRS.

Dr Senthil Kumaran, Head of The Learners Confluence conducted sessions on TQM, 5S, NEP 2020 & My School, Framework for School Governance and Clean/Safe campus. Shri.Subramanian, co-trainer shared best practices of process approach, learning schools and collaborative climate in education institutions. His sessions covered many practical ideas with examples from all over the World leading to concrete action points that can ensure continuous improvement in the CVs. Participants had visited CIRS as part of their training. Swami Anukoolananda briefly explained about Need for a CVP. Participants had an interaction session with Swamini Vimalananda. Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy spoke about the CCMT Education Cell Movement. Smt. Meena Sriram, Academic Administrator of CCMT Education Cell spoke on the Education cell initiatives and compliances. Participants also performed Paduka Pooja conducted by
Poojari Supriyo Chinmaya Gardens.

Report on Chinmaya Samshodhan Orientation Program

CCMT Education Cell organized online Chinmaya Samshodhan Orientation Program on 12 th March 2021 for teachers of Chinmaya Vidyalayas and Vision Schools. More than 299 principals & teachers attended the session. Smt. Shanti
Krishnamurthy Director, CCMT Education Cell explained about the research work that could be taken up by teachers in great depth with examples. Teachers also discussed with various topics and got guidance from the sessions.

CCMT Education cell organised a 4-day online orientation session on “Life an Aradhana” – the VE book series which was launched in Aug 2020 for Chinmaya Vidyalayas and Vision School teachers from 3 rd to 6 th March 2021.. The session was inaugurated by Swami Mitrananda from Chinmaya Mission, Chennai. Swamij explained the frame work of the book and also the need for creating an impact on children through the VE classes. Swami Anukoolananda Zonal director CCMT Education cell, Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director, CCMT Education cell, Br.Sanatan Chaitanya, the Spiritual guide, CIRS & Ms. Rohini Manohar, Ms.Vidhi Modi, Ms. Radha Narayan, Mrs Gayatri Panickar, Mrs Harsha the members of the Yuva Kendra Chennai chapter conducted the sessions. Nearly 1200 participants attended the sessions on all 4 days. The program was a grand success.

Two 3-day Online Seminars on Art Integration in Scholastic subjects for the Chinmaya Vidyalaya
Teachers from 4th to 6th Feb2021 and for the non-Chinmaya CBSE School teachers from 18th to 20th Feb
2021 was organized by Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth and CCMT Education Cell. The first one was
organized for the Teachers of Chinmaya Schools from the 4-6 Feb and the second one was organized for
the Non- Chinmaya schools from 18-20 Feb2021. The Programs were inaugurated on the first days and
Prof. Dr. Nagaraj Neerchal, V.C of CVV gave the key note address. Smt Gauri Mahulikar, Dean CVV also
highlighted the participants on experiential learning. The faculty members from CVV anchored the
programs. Professors from CVV, Principals and teachers from different Chinmaya Vidyalayas presented
the sessions.
The sessions covered integrating art in English, Mathematics, Science, Computer Science and Social
Science for different levels; such as Primary, Middle, secondary and senior secondary classes. For the
senior secondary classes, Physics, Chemistry, biology, Economics & Business studies were also covered.
18-20 resource persons presented the various sessions. The presentations were well researched and
presented by the speakers.
The Program was organized by Dr. Leela Ramamurthy Academic Coordinator, (Integrated B.Ed.) Education
Department, CVV and Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director CCMTEC. The program made a big impact on
the participants. Over all 3526 teachers participated in the Program on different days.

Report on “Happy Parenting” -An Online Workshop by Swamini Vimalananda for Parents in Navi Mumbai on the 21st Feb 2021

Chinmaya Prerna, the Chapter of Chinmaya Mission, Navi Mumbai organized an online session on “Happy Parenting” by Swamini Vimalananda on 21st February 2021. The event was coordinated by CCMT Education Cell. Pujya Swamini amma gave valuable tips with various examples. Swamini Amma highlighted the practices in the past which helped in nurturing Children more effectively. The present system of nuclear families where both parents are engaged in work, Parents are unable to spend quality time with Children and thus has affecting Children. More than 300 parents attended the session. Smt. Lakshmi Varanasi presented the vote of thanks and the session ended with a shanti path.

Report on Vision orientation workshop on 20th & 21st of January 2021

A 2 day CVP orientation workshop was conducted for about 300 members constituting teachers and students of B. Ed College from Navi Mumbai on the topic “Vision for Education on 20th & 21st January 2021.  The programme was organised by the Educational Outreach Program Wing of Chinmaya Mission Mumbai Prerana zone, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai in association with Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation-Education Department, VPM’s IAM International School, Airoli & Sainath Education Trust’s H.B.B.Ed College, Vashi.

The sessions were conducted by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director CCMTEC, Sw. Anukoolananda, Zonal Director CCMTEC, Smt. Rajeshwari Satish, Principal CIRS & Smt. Meena Sriram CCMTEC. The participants were highly energetic and enthusiastic during the sessions and participated actively. It ended with a vibrant question and answer session. All the participants were deeply indebted for the sessions and the learning that it provided.


Report on “Vidya Vritti”-A leader empowerment Program.

The CCMTEC conducted a series of online programs  titled “Vidya Vritti.” The program aimed at empowering leaders of Chinmaya Vidyalayas. Starting from  17th October 2020, five sessions were conducted on Saturdays covering 15 topics. Three principals presented their views on different topics related to Education on each Saturday. The presentations were well researched and presented by the speakers.Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director CCMTEC mentions  that the program was very successful because of the enthusiasm shown by the Principals. All the 15 talks have been uploaded in the Chinmaya Education Cell YouTube channel for  sharing it with the faculty members of the Vidyalayas. More than 70 Principals of the Chinmaya Vidyalayas attended the talks regularly. The presentations were highly appreciated by all the participants.

Report on the Book Launch of Life-an Aradhana

CCMT Education Cell has brought out a Value Education Book series “Life-an Aradhana” in the silver jubilee year of the Chinmaya Vision Program for classes 1 to 8 and the book was launched online on  the 30th August at 10.25 am in the morning. The first phase of books are being distributed to Chinmaya Vidyalayas through Education cell and the generic edition will be prepared for the non-Chinmaya Vidyalayas in the next Year.

The Program began with an invocation song presented by the music teachers of CIRS.

Smt Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director, CCMT education Cell welcomed the viewers.

Swaminee Vimalananda, addressed the viewers highlighting the significance of CVP and also mentioned about the National Education Policy completely overlapping with the CVP concepts.

Swami Anukoolananda, Zonal director, CCMT Education cell, shared with the viewers the main features of the book.

The series was launched by Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, the global head, Chinmaya Mission. He appreciated the efforts of Swami Mitrananda in guiding the team which worked in preparing the content. The first Copies of the book were handed over by Swamiji to Swami Anukoolananda, Zonal Director CCMTEC, Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director CCMTEC, Smt. Mini Jackson, the Principal of the Chinmaya Vidyalaya MHSS Vadavalli, Coimbatore, and to Smt. Rajeshwari Satish, the Principal of CIRS.

Oxford University Press has done the curation of the content, come out excellent Illustrations and have published the book. Sri Yash Mehta, The Executive director, Oxford University Press informed the viewers that they will be soon coming out a generic edition for introducing in Non Chinmaya Vidyalayas. He also informed that the digital content with animations and a teacher hand book is in the pipeline.

The ideation team which worked on the content -the Yuva Kendra members led by Kum. Yashashvini from Chennai Chapter introduced themselves to the viewers. The glimpses of the training modules prepared by Swami Mitrananda was shared with the viewers. The program ended with a formal vote of thanks presented by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy.  She made a special mention of Sri Emmanuel Joseph , director, CBSE, Academics for giving an inspiring foreword for the book. She also acknowledged the contribution of the CIRS staff in the launch program.

An online session on the impact of the National Education Policy on schools

An online session on the impact of the National Education Policy on schools was conducted by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director CCMT Education Cell, on 21st September 2020 from 10am to 11.30am for the Principals and Senior teachers of the Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s. The session was attended by about 100 participants including a few members of the management too. The presentation included the valid features form the draft presented by the Kasturi Rangan Committee. It also accentuated the need for schools to look at education from the point of view of children and thus get ready with necessary adaptations at all levels in the Vidyalayas’. The correlation between the CVP and the latest NEP was also clearly explained. Participants placed good number of questions which were also clearly answered by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy. It was a very informative session and all participants got a clarity on the salient features of the National Education Policy.



Report on Online Vidyalaya Improvement Programme for Principal & Senior Staffs of Kannamal national Schools, Palladam

An online Vidyalaya Improvement Programme was conducted for a selected group of 10 Senior Staff members including the Principals and Vice Principals of the two Schools (CBSE & State Board) under the Kannamal National Schools, Palladam. The session was conducted on 11 th July by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director CCMTEC. The session was about the steps required to be taken by the School to bring about an overall change in the functioning of the School itself. The teachers were guided progressively and sufficient examples were given to enlighten the group. It was a very beneficial session for the school.
