Please come out on an early March Sunday afternoon and have a session of stress-reducing and relaxation-enhancing auricular (ear) acupuncture, with therapies offered by long-time On-the-Fly friends and supporters,  Karyn and Liz of the Acudetox Healing Collective. Proceeds will go towards On-the-Fly's work this summer raising vegetables for Sarah's Circle, which works with women who are homeless or close to it in Uptown. On-the-Fly Farm will raise the vegetables, and women from Sarah's Circle will be able to venture out to the farm and participate in the growing of the produce. Your participation in this fundraiser will facilitate your relaxation and also foster this unique relationship between farm and city.

Acudetox Healing Collective.

Acudetox Healing Collective is a group of community health workers, activists, and organizers who believe that accessible health care is a form of social justice, and believe that in taking care of our communities we often forget to prioritize our own wellbeing. AHC believes that investing in the health of our people can only strengthen any movement for social justice. AHC therapists offer NADA (National AcuDetox Association) ear acupuncture , a five acupoint protocol to help with stress, relaxation, crisis, trauma, and addiction. This acupoint protocol helps to: 1) Reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms; 2) Reduce stress, irritability, insomnia and anxiety; and 3) Promote general wellness and balance.

The Acudetox Healing Collective is available to work with individuals, communities, and organizations by offering support for wellness and stress-reduction. For more information on ear acupuncture, email  Liz (lizappel@yahoo.com) or Karyn (olivejuicy@hotmail.com).
