• English (4 credits)

• Math (4 credits) (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II) or (Integrated Math I, II, III) 4th course to be aligned with student's post high school plans.

• Science (3 credits) Environmental, Biology, & a physical science course

• Social Studies (4 credits) World History, American History I & II, & Civics & Economics.

• **A student may take AP US History in place of American History I & II but will be required to take an additional Social Studies course in order to meet the four credit requirement.

• World Languages (2 credits) Required for admission to a university in the UNC system.

• Health & Physical Education (1 credit)

• Electives & Other Requirements (6 credits)

           2 elective credits of any combination from either:

            Career & Technical Education (CTE)

            Arts Education

            World Languages

           4 elective credits strongly recommended (four course concentration) from one of the following:

            Career & Technical Education (CTE)

            Arts Education

            Any other subject area (Social Studies, Science, English, Mathematics)
