Fundations: Use the attached slideshow to practice the following skills:
1. Write your 4 sound alike words. Draw a picture clue for each one, so that you can remember its meaning.
2. Write your trick words 5 times each.
3. Go over the adding suffixes to words that end in y rule. Write the sample words for practice.
4. Go over the ing exception. Practice writing the two sample words.
Reading: Use the slideshow to go over the vocabulary words for Hidden Figures. Choose three of them. Use each one in a sentence.
Then, listen to the read aloud of the story Hidden Figures. We will actually read it and discuss it when we get back to class.
Math: We will have our Unit 4 Test when we finally return to school. Here is a review for the test. Number your paper 1-23, and have scrap paper available to answer each review question.
Science: Watch the Dr. Binocs video about the life cycle of a frog, which is a complete metamorphosis.
