Welcome to fifth grade at Aldrich Elementary! I am so excited to be your teacher this year:)
As your teacher, I will see you for reading, writing, math, and science. You will have Mrs. Aalderks and Ms. Benson for shared, integrated teaching.
This is my 18th year teaching here in Cedar Falls. I have previously taught third grade in Macomb, Illinois, sixth grade in Pleasant Valley School District, and served as a K-6 Guidance Counselor for the North Scott Community School District.
I grew up attending Cedar Falls Schools and went on to attend the University of Northern Iowa. I graduated with degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education. I received my School Counseling degree from Western Illinois University.
My husband and I live in Cedar Falls. We enjoy attending high school and college sporting events.
