About Me

My name is Thaida García and I am so excited to be your Spanish teacher this year! This is my 7th year teaching at Kahla Middle School and I'm looking forward to finally having all of my students back in the classroom this year. I am a proud CFISD graduate (I went to Labay & Cy-Falls High School) as well as a proud Aggie (Texas A&M) and recently proud Jaguar (University of Houston-Victoria). Although I've lived most of my life in Texas and the United States, I am proud to have been born and raised in Venezuela. The Spanish language, music, art, festivals and food are my biggest passions in life. I can't wait to share those with y'all this year.
