About Me!

Welcome to my class website! Click on the photo above for a quick video introduction!

I am excited to return to the Hopper Husky team for my 6th year as a 6th grade science teacher. I have over 15 years of teaching experience in both elementary and middle school settings. I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho with a degree in education and have taught school in South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. I have been blessed to be a part of the CFISD family for the past 11 years. I have taught many years of self contained (all subjects) in addition to 10 years specializing in math and science.

Outside of school, I keep very busy with my family. I am wife to my husband Matt, & mother to my three children Noah, Briley, and Quinn. We love to play games together, play outside/sports, and travel. I am originally from New Mexico and Colorado, so I grew up camping and hiking and doing outdoorsy stuff like that. In my free time I still love to be outside and be active. I love Dr. Pepper, Tex Mex food, desserts, and rollercoasters! Click here for a video about me. Click here for a padlet I made last year.

I look forward to working with your child and your family for the 2020-2021 school year!
