About Mrs. Skinner

Welcome to 8th Grade Math!

My name is Katrina Skinner, and this is my 17th year teaching, and 14th year at Aragon Middle School. I graduated from Prairie View A & M University with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, then received my MBA from University of Phoenix in 2013. I completed my Principal Certification Program at Lamar University in 2018. Before teaching, I spent eight years in Corporate America working for The Boeing Company in Wichita, Kansas and General Electric in both Louisville, KY and Houston, TX.

I am happily married to a retired Army Veteran, and a proud mother of three! We have a 18 year old son who is a freshman at Texas State University this year, and a set of boy/girl twins who are 15 years old in the 10th grade. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family. My hobbies and interests include scrap-booking, cooking and traveling. I am looking forward to teaching my students the relevance of Math and how it relates to the real world!
