I have been a special education teacher for Cypress Fairbanks ISD for eleven years. This year, I have moved into general education, teaching 6th grade Reading Workshop. I have taught Reading, Language Arts, and Read 180, as well as providing In Class Support for other subjects. I have a passion for reading and writing, so teaching these subjects is a dream career for me. I'm passionate about working with students who struggle in these areas. It's extremely rewarding to help grow readers and writers. Every year provides new challenges and successes that make my job a one-of-a-kind experience.
