GRADING
25% Daily Grades (now called Checking for Understanding)
35% Assessment Grades (now called Relevant Applications)
40% Major Grades (now called Summative Assessments)
We have moved to a 9-week grading cycle. Students will receive 2 Progress Reports each grading period and a Report Card that will be sent in the mail. Please see the district calendar HERE for the specific dates.
One of the Assessment Grades each grading period will be called "ST Skills". This is an assessment of technology skills that are being taught each grading period and is an ongoing grade. Students will be given three chances to master each skill in class and the teacher will provide extra help to those who need it.
Opportunity Lab and tutorials are postponed until a new school-wide plan has been established. If your student needs extra help in my class please feel free to email me and we can make a plan to help your student succeed.
