Welcome

Welcome to the Central Community School District School Counseling Resource Page. It is our hope both students and parents will find this page useful and informative, providing the latest information on college and career planning, scholarship information, along with other useful tips and resources for students and parents of all ages.

The mission of the Central Community School Counseling Program is to create a safe environment that empowers all students to challenge themselves to meet their fullest potential, addressing their academic, career, and social/emotional developmental needs. It is the role of the counseling program to identify barriers impeding student success, advocating and collaborating with other stakeholders to create the conditions necessary for all students to be successful. This is best achieved with the involvement of parents, families, staff, and community members who are committed to the healthy development of our children.

Through classroom guidance lessons, individual counseling, and small group counseling sessions, it is the goal of this program to prepare students to live as productive, knowledgeable, confident, healthy, responsible citizens of the world.
