Private Lessons

CCSD21 has worked with local private lesson teachers for many years. Lessons are available for all band instruments. Most teachers offer weekly lessons in the evenings during the school week. Some teach from their homes, and others may be able to come to your home. These teachers are either professional musicians or former students who have continued to study their instrument at a high level.

While all students get a weekly group lesson during school, private lessons provide more one-on-one attention. This helps students build good habits, improve more quickly, and enjoy playing their instrument even more. Students who take private lessons often move into advanced groups sooner and stay more motivated.
