Renting an instrument in the first year is highly recommended. Rentals include free maintenance, which can become expensive, students sometimes change their minds about what they want to play, and some instruments, like strings, should grow with your student, so you will need to get multiple instruments over the years. Here are four local reputable shops that will allow you to rent online and will deliver to the school. There are many rental and purchase options. Do not feel limited to this list.
