APPLICATION deadline for 2023-2024 has past. 

2023-2024 APPLICATION 

Mu Alpha Theta is a National Mathematics Honor Society for high school and junior college students.  Membership encompasses more than 65,000 students in over 1400 schools.

*Please know that if you have been already been inducted during another school year, you are a member for life and you do not need to do anything else to maintain your membership                   

Requirements for Admission 2023-2024 school year:

                                    90.00 or higher in 2 regents level math classes

                                    (86.00 for honors classes)

90.00 or higher in your present Regents level or higher math class(es) - this will be verified after midyear grades are released in February.

Additionally, a student may not have a final grade lower than an 83.00 in any high school level math class. 

*Grades do not get rounded.  An 89.99 does not get rounded up to a 90.00.

*All stated grades are unweighted.

**Math classes include all Regents level, Honors level, elective and Computer Science classes

There are $17 in dues that will be collected once you receive your acceptance letter in February.
