This is Mrs. Johnson's eleventh year at Baker Place Elementary, and her nineteenth year teaching music. She has taught elementary and middle school students in Tennessee, West Virginia, and Georgia.
Hannah Johnson has been obsessed with music and performing since she was born. Her debut performance was at the age of 5 months old (and is still regarded as her best performance to date). She has been in numerous plays, operas, and musicals including: Brigadoon, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Little Women, The Music Man, Soir Angelica, Les Miserable, Sweeney Todd, and more. In college, she began writing her own plays which have been performed at area schools and churches.
When she is not at school, she spends time performing on whichever stage she can find. She loves to read, relax, and attend concerts and musicals.
Mrs. Johnson is married to Dr. Johnson, a music teacher and professor, and they have two boys, Miles and Parker.
Mrs. Johnson is on the board of the first ever Orff Levels in the CSRA and has completed Levels 1 and 2! Check out the information: https://sites.google.com/view/gaao/home
