Welcome! I have been a part of the Cougar team for over fifteen years , and I still get excited about a new school year here at Croatan. A great semester is in front of us all. I will get to know you soon, but I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English from East Carolina University and have been teaching for over twenty years. I have taught sixth grade through twelfth grade English/Language Arts and continue to have a passion for reading. My life outside of school centers around my three children and husband that I love spending my time with. I am a native of Eastern North Carolina, and I love the coast. My goals for you this semester are to push each of you to do your best, to encourage you to find excellence within yourselves, and to share my passion for fascinating literature with you so that you may love reading as I do!
