Geometry

Geometry is the study of size, shape, position, and dimensions of objects. There are different fields of geometry, but in high school we study Euclidean, named for the Greek mathematician Euclid. We will begin the course with a review of Algebra topics that are needed in the course. Then we will learn definitions, postulates, and theorems to study and apply the relationships of the geometric shapes. This course will help prepare students for the SAT math section.
