Welcome back to a new year! One would think that looping with many former students eliminates those first day of school jitters, but after all these years I still have them. However, I think it’s mostly excitement. I’m looking forward to teaching general and special education in the fifth and sixth grades this year, and therefore expanding the number of students I get to work with. In preparation for going back to school, I anticipate a period of adjustment is necessary. This period may be different for every person. Please let me know how things are going and rest assured that we are going through it together.
