OUTREACH

Canton Intermediate School hosted a pajama drive to help children facing uncertainty have a cozy good night. We collected over 130 pairs of pajamas! For each pair of pajamas donated toward the Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive, Scholastic Book Clubs matched that donation with one new book. Our PJ donations were donated to FISH homeless shelter in Torrington, CT.

Canton Intermediate School has been busy at work collecting gently used books that we will use to promote summer reading through our "Locally Grown Reader" program. Come join us this summer (date and location to be announced) to shop for free books that will inspire your young summer readers. Donations can be sent to school with your child and brought to Room 214. Thanks for your generosity and support in spreading the love of reading to local children.
