A Little Bit About Me

Hello!

I was born and raised in the neighboring town of New Hartford, and although I love to travel, I will always be a Northwest Corner girl at heart.

In 2006, I graduated Cum Laude from Siena College with a degree in English Education. In 2011, I completed my graduate work at Western Connecticut State University where I earned my degree in English Literature. In 2019, I earned a second Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of St. Joseph.

Prior to coming to Canton, I taught at Housatonic Valley Regional High School. During my seven years there, I taught English 9, English 10, and various 12th grade electives while also serving as Prom Advisor and Advisor to the Class of 2009 and Class of 2014. I previously served as Advisor to the Canton High School Student Council, National Honor Society Advisor, and currently serve as Advisor of We Speak and co-advisor of our Rotary Interact club.

In my spare time, I enjoy cozying up with a good book, cooking, traveling to new places, and spending time with family and friends, particularly my children, who keep me VERY busy!
